abstract |
[PROBLEMS] To improve the discharge capacity and cycle characteristics of a non-aqueous electrolyte secondary battery by improving the conditions for synthesizing a positive electrode active material for a non-aqueous electrolyte secondary battery. SOLUTION: In synthesizing a lithium composite metal oxide positive electrode active material, lithium is previously used in a molar ratio of 0.30 to 0.30. By using a lithium composite metal oxide containing 0.80 as a raw material, the reaction with a lithium salt is promoted, the generation of lithium oxide which is likely to occur during synthesis is suppressed, and the capacity per unit weight of the positive electrode and the cycle characteristics are improved. |
