titleOfInvention | Morphological control in polypropylene graft copolymer |
abstract | [PROBLEMS] To increase the polymerization induction time on a polymer surface by using a polymerization rate moderating agent, to facilitate diffusion of a monomer into polymer particles, and to suppress surface polymerization of a monomer. A graft copolymer having a trunk of a propylene polymer substance and a vinyl monomer graft-polymerized thereon is treated by (1) treating the propylene polymer substance with a free radical polymerization initiator, and (2) treating the propylene polymer substance. Treating with at least one graft monomer that can be polymerized by free radicals in the presence of a polymerization rate moderator, and (3) removing unreacted graft monomer from the resulting grafted propylene polymer material; Produced from the step of breaking down unreacted initiators and inactivating residual free radicals in the material. |
