abstract [PROBLEMS] To provide a novel sulfuric acid derivative which inhibits binding to a scavenger receptor and a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof. A compound of the general formula I, for example, the formula 1 (X represents a single bond or —OCH 2 —, and n represents an integer of 12 to 23, provided that the two acylamino groups are mutually bonded to the benzene ring at meta or rose positions.) A scavenger receptor inhibitor comprising, as an active ingredient, a sodium salt of a sulfuric acid derivative. [Effect] The present compound can be a preventive and therapeutic agent for various diseases such as arteriosclerosis, diabetic complications and Alzheimer's disease.
