PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multilayer film including a polypropylene layer, a thermotropic liquid crystal polymer layer, and a hot melt adhesive layer between the two layers. The multilayer film including a thermotropic liquid crystal polymer film layer and a polypropylene film layer comprises: (1) a poly (α-olefin) composed of isotactic polypropylene, a second lower poly (α-olefin) polymer; Glued together using a small amount of a blend of higher poly (α-olefins); or (2) a hot melt adhesive which is a blend of a poly (propylene-graft-maleic anhydride) and a dimer acid based polyamide. You. These hot melt adhesives also act as compatibilizers for blends of polypropylene and thermotropic liquid crystal polymers. |
