abstract | (57) [Problem] To provide a toner having a sharp particle size distribution and excellent charge stability even for toner particles produced by an emulsion dispersion method. SOLUTION: When producing toner particles by an emulsification dispersion method, a water-soluble organic solvent which is a good solvent for a toner binder resin and a water-soluble organic solvent which is a poor solvent for a toner binder resin are used. In addition, a mixed organic solvent in which the organic solvents are compatible with each other is used, and a step of forming an O / W emulsion with an aqueous suspension containing an alkaline hardly soluble inorganic salt as a dispersant is performed. |
