titleOfInvention | Molding material of skin material, skin material of instrument panel for airbag using the material, and method of molding the skin material |
abstract | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily and inexpensively adjust a characteristic range of a TPU in accordance with an interior product to which the TPU is to be applied without impairing its inherent characteristics, and particularly to an instrument panel for an airbag. When applied to the skin material of (1), stress concentration on the cleavage portion is effectively generated at the time of inflation of the airbag, so that remarkable improvement in the cleavage performance can be achieved. SOLUTION: A skin material 4 having a cleaved portion 3 at a position corresponding to a deployment portion of an airbag, a door material 6 opposed thereto, and a foamed layer 7 injected and foamed between both materials 4 and 6 are integrated. The skin material 4 in the formed instrument panel 1 for an air bag is formed by a powder slush molding method using a mixed material of TPU powder and a blocked isocyanate powder fixed at ordinary temperature as a molding material, and the heat during the molding is used. TPU is three-dimensionally crosslinked to suppress elongation. |
