abstract | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To uniformly coat a flux composition or a brazing composition with good transferability and adhesion on an aluminum member to be brazed, and to omit a flux application step during brazing and brazing. Provided is a brazing method which enables the use of an aluminum member which does not clad a brazing material in place of a sheet. SOLUTION: A flux composition comprising a synthetic resin having a methacrylate polymer or a methacrylate copolymer as main constituents and a brazing flux, or a flux composition comprising the synthetic resin, a brazing flux and a brazing material. The ratio of the weight of the brazing flux and the synthetic resin in the flux composition, or the ratio of the total weight of the brazing flux and the brazing material to the weight of the synthetic resin in the brazing composition, is 90-7. 0%: An aluminum member of 10 to 30% is disposed at the brazing joint, and is heated and brazed through the brazing material. |
