titleOfInvention | Resin coated sand for mold |
abstract | (57) [Problem] To provide a resin coated sand for a mold capable of obtaining a mold having good collapsibility even in casting at a low casting temperature. SOLUTION: A resin-coated sand is prepared by coating the surface of sand particles with a binder prepared by blending an oxidizing agent and substituted benzenecarboxylic acids with a phenol resin. The phenolic resin is easily decomposed by carbonization due to the action of the oxidizing agent and the substituted benzene carboxylic acid compounded in the binder, and the binder is easily decomposed even when casting at a low casting temperature such as aluminum casting or magnesium casting. I do. |
