titleOfInvention Gas sensor
abstract (57) [Problem] To improve the measurement accuracy of a detection electrode by avoiding the influence of pulsation of exhaust pressure generated in a gas to be measured. The present invention relates to the ability to decompose / reduce NOx. Alternatively, the main pump cell 44 having low electrodes (the inner pump electrode 40 and the outer pump electrode 42) is used to control the oxygen concentration in the first chamber 18 to a predetermined value at which substantially no NO can be decomposed, so as to reduce NOx. Decomposition / reduction ability Alternatively, NOx is decomposed by using the high detection electrode 60, and the amount of oxygen generated at that time is measured. In the gas sensor 10A for measuring the x concentration, a buffer space 22 is provided between the gas inlet 24 and the first chamber 18.
