abstract (57) [Summary] [PROBLEMS] To detect non-destructively the amount of water in a sealed container. SOLUTION: A voltage is applied between two terminals to measure the temperature characteristics of the leak currents I, B, and C, and the water content in the container is determined from the temperatures T 1 , T 2 at which the leak currents A, B, and C are minimized. Detect. The temperature at which the leak current becomes a minimum is a monotonically increasing function of the amount of moisture, and the amount of moisture can be uniquely determined. Also, The leak currents I, B, and C between the two terminals are measured at a low temperature lower than the dew point temperature in the container, and the amount of water in the container is detected based on the magnitude of the leak currents I, B, and C. Below the dew point, the leakage current is a monotonically increasing function of the water content, so that the water content can be determined uniquely.
