titleOfInvention | Method for producing silver halide emulsion |
abstract | (57) Abstract: An object of the present invention is to provide a silver halide emulsion having excellent sensitivity for a silver halide photographic light-sensitive material. An object of the present invention is to provide an excellent method for producing a silver halide emulsion. SOLUTION: The silver halide emulsion containing silver halide grains and a dispersion medium, wherein the silver halide emulsion has an average silver iodide content of the outermost layer of the silver halide grains in a main plane portion and a side surface portion. The tabular silver halide grains differing by 2 mol% or more and the higher average silver iodide content is 3 mol% or more and less than 30 mol% are replaced by 50% or more (number) of all silver halide grains. A method for producing a silver halide emulsion containing the silver halide emulsion, wherein ultrafiltration is performed in a part or all of the silver halide emulsion from immediately before formation of the outermost layer to completion of the production of the silver halide emulsion. Emulsion manufacturing method. |
