titleOfInvention | Method for producing propylene block copolymer |
abstract | (57) [Problem] To provide a method for producing a propylene block copolymer capable of obtaining a propylene block copolymer excellent in balance between rigidity and impact strength. SOLUTION: An essential component is [A] a transition metal compound represented by the following general formula [I], and [B] an ion-exchange layered compound other than silicate or an inorganic silicate, and [C] an organoaluminum compound. In the first step, propylene alone or propylene and an α-olefin having 2 to 20 carbon atoms are subjected to polymerization in the presence of a catalyst as an optional component to produce a propylene homopolymer or a propylene copolymer having a propylene content of 90 mol% or more. A process for producing a propylene block copolymer, which comprises producing a coalesced product and, in a second stage, copolymerizing propylene with an olefin having 2 to 20 carbon atoms in the presence of the polymer produced in the first stage. Embedded image (In the general formula [I], A 1 and A 2 represent a conjugated five-membered ring ligand (A 1 and A 2 may be the same or different in the same compound). |
