abstract (57) [Summary] (Modifications) [Problem] To provide a method for producing tea leaf tannins from which caffeine is substantially removed when producing tea leaf tannins. SOLUTION: After a tea extract is subjected to a contact treatment with a cation exchange resin, ethanol is added to the treated liquid to produce a precipitate, and the precipitate is removed by filtration.
