abstract (57) Abstract: Provided is an actuator capable of converting a rotary motion of a feed screw into a linear motion and transmitting the linear motion to a slider in a non-contact state. A ball screw (38) of an actuator (30) is inserted into a displacement member (72), and a drive-side axial magnetic pattern (78) and a drive-side circumferential magnetic pattern (80) are formed on the outer periphery of the displacement member (72). The ball screw 38 and the displacement member 72 are surrounded by a tube 40. A slider 88 is provided outside the tube 40, and the slider 88 8, a passive-side axial magnetic pattern 92 facing the drive-side axial magnetic pattern 78 and a passive-side circumferential magnetic pattern 94 facing the drive-side circumferential magnetic pattern 80 are formed. When the passive side magnetically attracts each other, rotation of the displacement member 72 is prevented, and the slider 88 is displaced in the axial direction together with the displacement member 72.
