abstract (57) [Problem] To provide a non-aqueous secondary battery which is hardly deteriorated by a mechanical impact and easy to manufacture. SOLUTION: In a prismatic non-aqueous secondary battery, an outer case of the battery comprises a can and a lid, and at least one set of opposing side walls has a central portion bulged outward, and the can comprises a plurality of unit cells. The unit cell body is housed, the center of the side wall is bent inward by pressing, and the unit cell is pressed and clamped by the side wall.
