abstract (57) [Summary] [PROBLEMS] A light transmission type that can effectively improve the light fastness of a triphenylmethane-based dye having excellent coloring properties, and can obtain the same light fastness as when a pigment is used. Is provided. A color filter is used to display a light-transmitting color liquid crystal display in color. This color filter 500 is red, green, A color pattern 520 including three primary colors of blue is included. Among the three primary colors, it is necessary to improve the light fastness of a green color based on cyan. The green color contains a triphenylmethane dye as a coloring material. A metal complex is added to a color pattern containing such a dye in order to improve light resistance. As the metal complex to be added, dialkyl phosphate, dialkyldithiocarbanate, benzenedithiol or a similar dithiol is preferable, and nickel, copper or cobalt is preferable as the metal.
