abstract (57) [Problem] To produce a plate-like catalyst having the same abrasion resistance as the conventional one without using a sheet-like substance sandwiched between rolls. SOLUTION: The apparatus for producing a plate-shaped catalyst of the present invention comprises a substrate 1 A steel biaxial coating roll 3, a hot air generator 4 disposed on both sides of the catalyst coating body 2, a control device 5 for controlling the hot air generator 4, and a rotation speed engaged with a rotating shaft of the coating roll 3 from the supply side of 6 and a biaxial rolling roll 7 made of steel.
