abstract | (57) [Summary] [Problem] To make a plate directly using an infrared laser or the like, To provide a negative type image recording material suitable for a negative type lithographic printing plate which is capable of so-called direct plate making and has no image omission in image formation after laser exposure. SOLUTION: (A) a compound which decomposes by light or heat to generate an acid, (B) a crosslinking agent which crosslinks with an acid, (C) at least one kind of alkali-soluble resin, (D) an infrared absorber, A negative comprising a polymer compound having, as copolymerization components, at least a component (1) having a fluorine atom, a component (2) having an acidic hydrogen atom, and a component (3) exhibiting lipophilicity.
