PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To isolate and identify a factor involved in DRB-dependent transcription inhibition (DMTI), thereby to activate and inhibit RNA polymerase II transcription and to control functions related to transcription control to RNA. Hope to clarify. The present invention relates to control of the action of RNA polymerase II. More specifically, the present invention relates to a method for controlling transcription by RNA polymerase II. -Beta-D-ribofuranosylbenzimidazole (D RB) a susceptibility inducer and a protein constituting the same. Furthermore, the present invention relates to an antibody that specifically reacts with the protein. The present invention also relates to RNA polymerase II. By controlling the activation or inhibition of the transcription of E. coli, it is useful not only for maintenance of biological activity, recovery of obstacles in living organisms, destruction of hostile organisms, etc., but also in the field of production of various proteins by genetic engineering. |
