abstract (57) [PROBLEMS] To provide a combustion powered fastener driving tool improved to delay the sealing state of a combustion chamber until a piston returns to an initial position. SOLUTION: In a combustion power type fastener driving tool for driving a fastener into a work, a combustion chamber 36 formed in an upper part of a housing 12, a cylinder 58 communicating with the combustion chamber 36, and a cylinder 58 in the cylinder 58 are provided. A piston 64 disposed so as to be able to reciprocate between an initial position at the upper end and a driving position at the end of the cylinder; gas control means for repeatedly opening the combustion chamber to outside air; and gas control means. And a delay device 84 for delaying opening of the combustion chamber 36 until the piston 64 returns to its initial position after driving the fastener.
