abstract (57) [Problem] To provide an ablation and mapping system system capable of easily and reliably forming a linear cautery wound in a heart with a single operation. A guiding introducer system (11), a rail (16) housed within the guiding introducer system (11) at one end, and an ablation catheter system (18) supported by the guiding introducer system (11). Ablation system for ablating heart tissue in a human atria or ventricle (Ten). The guiding introducer system (11) may consist of one or more guiding introducers. Ablation system (18) may comprise a slotted sheath (22) passing on rails (16) and supporting the ablation catheter system (18).
