titleOfInvention Method for producing silver halide emulsion
abstract PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a silver halide emulsion in which silver halide is continuously formed in a mixer outside a reaction vessel and then supplied into the reaction vessel and used as a nucleus or a growth source. To provide a silver halide photographic emulsion having high monodispersity and excellent production stability. SOLUTION: A silver halide emulsion is formed by continuously forming silver halide grains in a mixer outside a reaction vessel and then supplied into the reaction vessel to be used as a supply source of silver halide grain nuclei or silver halide grain growth. In the production method described above, the silver halide grains formed in the mixer have at least one of the above factors immediately after the start of mixing by at least one monitoring / control means of the mixing temperature, the flow rate of the additive solution, and the pAg during mixing. Until the range is set, the liquid is sent out of the reaction vessel by a switching device provided between the mixer and the reaction vessel, and the reaction is performed by the switching device after at least one of the above factors is within a preset range. A method for producing a silver halide emulsion, which comprises sending the emulsion to a container.
