abstract (57) [Problem] To provide a polymer-dispersed liquid crystal device whose display quality is hardly affected by an external environment and which can perform color display. A liquid crystal polymer composite layer in which a liquid crystal and a polymer are mutually dispersed, a cholesteric layer that performs selective reflection when incident light is incident, and a cholesteric layer that performs selective reflection. And a light absorption layer 60 that absorbs light that is not selectively reflected.
