titleOfInvention Rotary positioning indexing ultrasonic clamp core guillator device
abstract (57) [Summary] [Problem] To perform accurate rotation positioning. SOLUTION: The structure is such that the cutting, coagulation and fixation of the tissue occur by the cooperation of the clamping mechanism and the related ultrasonic end effector. The selective indexing rotation positioning of the clamping mechanism and the end effector is achieved by incorporating a detent mechanism in the clamp drive mechanism of the device. With such a structural arrangement, the associated ultrasonic drive is effectively connected to the waveguide of the device so that it rotates together with the clamping mechanism, the elongated part of the device being selected with respect to the housing of the device. It can be positioned so as to be rotatable.
