abstract (57) [Summary] [PROBLEMS] To provide an equipment space with a vibration control mechanism in a building, to ensure the safety of equipment piping against large earthquakes and fires, and to provide a functionally efficient building. It is an object to provide a space for equipment. SOLUTION: A damper D is interposed between the respective structures B and C for connection, and a vertical slit 2 between the respective structures B and C is provided. Was defined as a chamber 1 for equipment, and the periphery of the chamber 1 was defined by wall materials 3 and 13 having fire resistance, and the partition walls 4 and 14 were installed in the chamber 1 so as to be extendable and contractible.
