abstract (57) [Problem] To provide a solid electrolytic capacitor excellent in low impedance performance. SOLUTION: In a solid electrolytic capacitor formed by forming a conductive polymer composition on the surface of an oxide film layer formed on a valve metal, the conductive polymer composition contains at least naphthylamine sulfonate anion as a dopant, By providing the content in the range of 0.1 to 50 mol% with respect to all the repeating structural units of the conductive polymer, a solid electrolytic capacitor having low impedance is provided. Further, in the conductive polymer composition containing a repeating unit having a 3,4-dioxo-substituted thienylene structure as the conductive polymer, naphthylamine sulfonic acid anion is added in an amount of 0.1 to 50. By providing the content in the range of mol%, a solid electrolytic capacitor having remarkably low impedance characteristics is provided.
