abstract (57) [Summary] [PROBLEMS] A novel method that hardly causes a change in functions such as charging characteristics and hardly causes filming problems even when repeatedly used in an image forming method of a recycle method or the like. Provide an electrophotographic toner. SOLUTION: (1) In a toner particle in which a wax as a release agent is dispersed in a fixing resin, an average dispersed particle diameter Rw of the wax, and (2) at least one kind of externally added toner particles are added to the toner particles. The ratio Rw of the average particle size Rs of the fine particles to / Rs was set within the range of the formula (i): 0.5 ≦ Rw / Rs ≦ 4 (i).
