Color negative photographic elements |
abstract |
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a silver halide color negative photographic element capable of creating an image with low granularity when converted into an electronic form and then converted back into an observable form. The photographic element of the present invention contains blue, green, and red recording layer units capable of forming a spectrally differentiated dye image. The layer units are substantially free of colored masking couplers, each of which is 1.5 Dye image gamma values less than and exposure latitude greater than or equal to 2.7 log E are indicated. More than 50 mol% of the development inhibitor releasing compounds contained in at least one of the layer units exhibit a diffusion coefficient of less than 0.4. |
