abstract PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a particle modifying method and a particle modifying apparatus capable of producing modified particles having a uniform and thick modifier film in a short time by a very simple operation. SOLUTION: A cooling device 1 is provided for a particle 22 at a particle introduction part 4. After cooling by 0.13, the mixing section 9 mixes the particles 22 and the vapor of the modifier 21 to generate supersaturated vapor of the modifier 21 around the particles 22. Modifier 21 Is generated by being heated by the heating device 7 in the steam generation box 2.
