titleOfInvention Apparatus for removing metabolic gas from fruits and vegetables and refrigerator provided with the apparatus
abstract (57) [Problem] To provide a metabolic gas removing device and a refrigerator having a simple configuration capable of reliably removing metabolic gas from fruits and vegetables over a long period of time. SOLUTION: Activated carbon having a difference in metabolic gas adsorption capacity between dry time and wet time is accommodated in a container having a vent and a ceiling plate for dew condensation of water vapor in the air on a lower surface, and a metabolic gas removing apparatus is provided. And An opening is provided in a portion of the lid that closes the vegetable container in the vegetable compartment of the refrigerator, where the lid is easily cooled, and a metabolic gas removing device is attached so that the ceiling plate is exposed through this opening. Activated carbon is moistened by dew condensation water falling from the ceiling plate, and releases metabolic gas adsorbed during drying to restore the adsorption capacity. The released metabolic gas is discharged when the vegetable room is opened or through an opening formed in the ceiling plate. A metabolic gas removing device having an open top may be attached to the lid of the vegetable container, and the activated carbon may be moistened with dew water of the lid.
