(57) [Summary] [PROBLEMS] To provide a method for measuring a glycated protein capable of obtaining a sufficiently reliable measurement value. SOLUTION: A glycated protein is treated with a protease, the treated product is treated with fructosyl amino acid oxidase (FAOD), and hydrogen peroxide generated at that time is measured using peroxidase and a chromogenic substrate. In the method for measuring glycated protein, the glycated protein is subjected to protease treatment in the presence of at least one substance selected from the group consisting of metalloporphyrins, cytochromes, and diaphorase. FIG. 1 is a graph showing the relationship between serum concentration and absorbance of a chromogenic substrate when hemin is used. This graph shows that the absorbance increases as the serum concentration increases. |
