abstract (57) [Problem] To improve the light fastness of violacein and deoxyviolacein as blue-violet pigments. SOLUTION: A fiber or a fiber product dyed with blue-violet pigments violacein and deoxyviolacein is treated with an aqueous thiourea solution. The blue-violet pigment is produced from a bacterium, in particular, J. lividum.
