abstract | (57) [Problem] To form a photocatalytic film exhibiting hydrophilicity on the surface of an existing substrate or a substrate made of synthetic resin to which dirt is attached. SOLUTION: A base material obtained by dispersing colloidal silica, an amino-based precondensate, a vinyl-based thermoplastic resin latex emulsion, and polyvinyl alcohol having a saponification degree of 80% to 99% in water is used as a base material. When applied to the surface of the substrate, the surface of the substrate is made hydrophilic to some extent. Therefore, by applying a photocatalyst coating solution to the surface that has been hydrophilized, a photocatalyst layer having excellent bonding strength to the substrate surface can be obtained. |
