abstract (57) [Summary] [PROBLEMS] In a process of forming an image repeatedly, it is excellent in crush resistance against mechanical shock in a developing device and low-temperature fixing property, and is free from fog and has high density. Providing toner that can provide clear images stably. SOLUTION: The toner for developing an electrostatic image contains at least a polymer obtained from a monomer represented by the following general formula (1) and a vinyl monomer. Embedded image (Wherein, R 1 and R 2 represent a substituted or unsubstituted alkyl group having 1 to 12 carbon atoms or a substituted or unsubstituted aryl group. R 3 and R 4 represent a hydrogen atom, a halogen atom, Represents an unsubstituted alkyl group, a substituted or unsubstituted cycloalkyl group, or a substituted or unsubstituted aryl group; Represents an integer. R 5 and R 6 represent a hydrogen atom or a substituted or unsubstituted alkyl group. X represents an alkylene group or a mere bond. Y represents an alkylene group or a -CO- group. n represents an integer of 1 to 20. )
