titleOfInvention Environmentally responsive fluoropolymer
abstract (57) [Abstract] [Problem] To have an environmental responsiveness that adapts itself to the surrounding environment reversibly by itself, for applications requiring not only antifouling properties and cleaning properties but also heat resistance and weather resistance. To provide a fluoropolymer which can also be applied. SOLUTION: In a fluorine-containing polymer having a side chain having both a hydrophobic part and a hydrophilic part in one side chain, the environment where the polymer surface is exposed is changed from a hydrophobic environment to a hydrophilic environment. Or the change from a hydrophilic environment to a hydrophobic environment causes the side chains of the polymer surface to move, so that the fluoropolymer surface becomes hydrophobic in a hydrophobic environment and becomes hydrophilic in a hydrophobic environment. An environmentally responsive fluorine-containing polymer that changes to hydrophilic in the environment.
