PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hair dye and a hair dyeing method which are excellent in safety, stability and fastness, and can be dyed into natural hair color. SOLUTION: A hair dye containing a complex forming substance of a melanin intermediate and a boron-containing compound as an active ingredient. A two-part hair dye comprising one hair dye and two pH adjusters.
