titleOfInvention | Lithographic printing plate manufacturing method and lithographic printing plate manufacturing sheet |
abstract | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a lithographic printing plate utilizing electrophotography which gives an inexpensive and high-quality image, and a sheet for producing a lithographic printing plate advantageously used in the method. SOLUTION: A conductive layer composed of a conductive component mainly composed of tin dioxide doped with a different atom and a binder, and a photoconductive layer composed of zinc oxide and a binder are formed on a non-conductive support. A lithographic printing plate manufacturing sheet which is laminated in this order and has an overall volume resistivity in the range of 1.0 × 10 6 to 1.0 × 10 9 Ω · cm is used. A step of charging the photoconductive layer by performing a negative corona discharge on the surface of the photoconductive layer while contacting the conductor, and irradiating the surface of the charged photoconductive layer with light in an image-like manner. Forming a latent image on the surface of the photoconductive layer, applying a lipophilic toner to the surface of the photoconductive layer having the latent image, developing the lipophilic toner image, and hydrophilizing the non-image portion. Using electrophotography composed of Lithographic printing plate manufacturing method. |
