titleOfInvention Magneto-optical recording medium and reproducing method thereof
abstract PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To block a signal recorded at a high density by a magnetic mask layer, and to make the reproducing layer and the recording layer magnetostatically coupled in a part of the region heated by the reproducing beam, thereby forming a magnetic domain. Is reproduced by enlarging it, thereby enabling reproduction with high signal quality. SOLUTION: In a magneto-optical recording medium in which a reproducing layer 1 which is in an in-plane magnetization state at room temperature and has a perpendicular magnetization state at a predetermined temperature or higher and a recording layer 4 is magnetostatically coupled, the magneto-optical recording medium is adjacent to the recording layer. An in-plane magnetization layer 3 having a Curie temperature at a predetermined temperature is formed.
