Silver halide photographic material |
abstract |
(57) [Problem] To provide a highly sensitive spectrally sensitized silver halide photographic light-sensitive material. SOLUTION: The halogen containing a silver halide photographic emulsion in which the light absorption intensity by a sensitizing dye per unit surface area of the surface of the spectrally sensitized tabular silver halide grains having an average aspect ratio of 8 or more and 100 or less is 100 or more. A silver halide photographic material having a silver halide emulsion layer. However, when spectral sensitization is performed at a spectral absorption maximum wavelength of 500 nm or less, the above light absorption intensity is 60 or more and less than 100. Here, the light absorption intensity of the sensitizing dye per unit surface area means the optical density Log (I) where I 0 is the amount of light incident on the unit surface area of the particle and I is the amount of light absorbed by the sensitizing dye on the surface. 0 / (I 0 -I)) is defined as a value integrated with respect to the wave number (cm −1 ), and the integration range is from 5000 cm −1 to 35000 cm Up to -1 . |
