titleOfInvention How to control microbial growth
abstract PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for improving the efficiency of suppressing the growth of microorganisms by using an immobilized biocide. Contacting an aqueous medium with a biocidal material comprising a biocide having a LogP value of at least 1.5, which is immobilized by hydrophobic exclusion on a support having a hydrophobic surface. A method for suppressing microbial growth in an aqueous medium, wherein the contacting is performed in the presence of the biocide enhancer.
