abstract (57) [Summary] [Problem] To provide a method for desalination of condensate in a boiler using an amine-based steam condensate anticorrosive in a water supply system without deteriorating the purity of the condensate. . SOLUTION: In the desalination treatment of the condensate of a boiler containing an amine-based steam condensate anticorrosive, the condensate is subjected to a strongly acidic cation exchange resin, a strongly basic anion exchange resin and the strongly acidic cation exchange. Water is passed through a mixed bed type ion exchange resin bed made of inert synthetic resin particles having a specific gravity intermediate between the specific gravity of the resin and the specific gravity of the strong basic anion exchange resin, and having no ion exchange function.
