titleOfInvention Spindle-shaped goethite particle powder and method for producing the same, spindle-shaped hematite particle powder and method for producing the same, and spindle-shaped metal magnetic particle powder containing iron as a main component and method for producing the same
abstract PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spindle-shaped goethite particle powder and a spindle-shaped metal magnetic particle powder obtained by using the spindle-shaped goethite particle powder as a starting material. SOLUTION: This is spindle-shaped particles having an average major axis diameter of 0.05 to 1.0 μm, the particles comprising a seed crystal part and a surface layer part, The seed portion contains 0.5 to 25 atomic% of Co with respect to the total Fe, and the surface layer portion contains 0.5 to 15 atomic% of Al with respect to the total Fe. A spindle-shaped goethite particle powder comprising goethite particles containing 0.5 to 10 atomic% of a rare earth element is contained in a water suspension containing a ferrous-containing precipitate obtained by reacting a mixed alkali solution and a ferrous salt solution. After the suspension is aged, an oxygen-containing gas is passed to generate spindle-shaped goethite seed crystal particles, and then a mixed alkali solution and a ferrous salt solution are newly added and mixed, and a growth reaction is performed to obtain spindle-shaped goethite particles. All Fe 0.5 to 25 atomic% of Co compound, 0.5 to 15 It is obtained by adding an atomic% Al compound and a 0.5 to 10 atomic% compound of a rare earth element.
