titleOfInvention | Method for producing polyacetylated polyhydric alcohol and method for producing crosslinked polyester resin |
abstract | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simple method for producing a polyacetylated product of a polyhydric alcohol which does not require a complicated production step and which can omit a purification step, and a method for producing a crosslinked polyester resin capable of performing a homogeneous reaction. I do. SOLUTION: A polyhydric alcohol and acetic anhydride in an equimolar amount with respect to the hydroxyl group amount of the polyhydric alcohol are charged and heated with stirring. Acetic acid vapor having a boiling point of 115 ° C. is generated as the reaction proceeds. The heating temperature is maintained until the amount of acetic acid distilled off from the reaction solution becomes 90% or more of the theoretical amount. When the temperature of the by-produced acetic acid vapor drops and the generation of acetic acid vapor is no longer observed, the pressure is reduced to further distill off the by-produced acetic acid. The pressure reduction is continued until no foaming is seen on the liquid surface. The depressurization is stopped, and the melt in the reactor is discharged and cooled to obtain a polyacetylated product of a polyhydric alcohol. Using this polyacetylated product as a crosslinking component, dicarboxylic acid and diol are polymerized to produce a crosslinked polyester resin. |
