PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately judge that a remaining capacity of a secondary battery using a nickel hydroxide positive electrode at a final stage of discharge has reached an allowable lower limit by measuring the voltage. I do. SOLUTION: A judgment voltage value for judging that the remaining capacity of the secondary battery using the nickel hydroxide positive electrode at the final stage of discharge has reached the permissible lower limit is changed to a voltage value at the time of reaching the permissible lower limit during the first discharge. In addition, taking into account the voltage value that sequentially decreases due to the memory effect when the allowable lower limit is reached during the second and subsequent discharges, the voltage value is determined to be lower than the voltage value during the first discharge. It is determined that the remaining capacity has reached the allowable lower limit based on the determined determination voltage value. |
