titleOfInvention | Manufacturing method of liquid crystal display device |
abstract | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a liquid crystal display device which is easy to manufacture, has excellent viewing angle characteristics, and is excellent in contrast ratio and response speed. SOLUTION: In a method for manufacturing a liquid crystal display device, a liquid crystal layer is sandwiched between two substrates, and the liquid crystal layer has four kinds of minute regions in which a twist direction of a liquid crystal alignment vector and a rising direction of liquid crystal molecules are different. The minute region is generated by applying a voltage between electrodes on both sides of the liquid crystal layer at a temperature at which the liquid crystal layer forms a liquid crystal phase. |
