PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To exhibit inactivation by dead bacteria or other sediments, which can be covalently bonded to the surface of a polymer support without loss of action and thus can be permanently anchored and Provided are block copolymers which are persistently blood compatible and avoid bacteria, processes for their preparation, methods for coating plastic supports and products comprising coated block copolymers. A block copolymer containing a block A having a sulfonate group and a carboxyl group and a polyurethane or polyester block B. The copolymer according to the invention reduces bacterial adhesion and growth to a high degree and over a long period of time. |
