Plastic optical material and method of manufacturing the same |
abstract |
(57) [Problem] To provide a plastic optical material having a performance of absorbing light rays of a specific wavelength range with high efficiency, obtaining required optical characteristics such as anti-glare properties, and having low water absorption. To provide a manufacturing method thereof. SOLUTION: The plastic optical material of the present invention is characterized in that a phosphoric acid group, an amide group, and a metal ion component composed of a rare earth metal ion are contained in an acrylic resin. The phosphoric acid group and the amide group are preferably present in the structure of the polymer constituting the acrylic resin by being chemically bonded, respectively. The polymer constituting the acrylic resin is represented by the following formula (1). It is preferably a copolymer obtained by copolymerizing a phosphoric acid group-containing monomer to be used and a monomer copolymerizable therewith. Embedded image |
