titleOfInvention Wholly aromatic thermotropic liquid crystal polyester and encapsulant for electrical and electronic components
abstract PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermotropic liquid crystal polyester which can be formed at a low temperature and has heat resistance enough to withstand processing such as soldering and a sealing material for electric and electronic parts comprising the same. I do. SOLUTION: A wholly aromatic thermotropic liquid crystal polyester characterized by containing a specific five kinds of repeating structural units at a predetermined ratio and satisfying specific conditions of intrinsic viscosity, or complete melting temperature and storage elastic modulus, and Sealing material for electric and electronic parts.
