(57) [Problem] To provide a loop type thin tube heat pipe capable of performing optimal heat transport according to use conditions and a method of using a heat pipe capable of performing heat transport more efficiently. A working fluid for heat transport is accommodated in a loop-type thin tube, a part of the loop-type thin tube is used as a heat-absorbing portion, and a portion of the loop-type thin tube other than the heat-absorbing portion radiates heat. In the loop-type thin tube heat pipe 21 used as the portion B, when the heat exchange length of the heat absorbing portion A of the thin tube is 1 and the inner diameter of the thin tube 25 in the heat absorbing portion A is d, 1 and d are 15d <l. <882d, and Let Laplace constant L be L = [σ / {(ρ l −ρ v ) g}] When it is set to 0.5 , the inner diameter d satisfies the condition of L <d <3L. |
