abstract (57) [Problem] To provide an unsaturated polyester resin composition for repair and a method for repairing a molded article, which are suitable for repairing a defect portion found or generated after complete curing. An unsaturated polyester obtained by reacting a dibasic acid component containing α, β-ethylenically unsaturated dibasic acid as an essential component with a polyhydric alcohol component containing 1,6-hexanediol as an essential component. An unsaturated polyester resin composition for repair comprising a resin and a copolymerizable monomer. The defective polyester resin composition is repaired by embedding and curing the unsaturated polyester resin composition as a compound in the defective part.
